Description: William Hardie Kininmonth is considered one of Scotland’s foremost modernist architects and contemporary of Sir Basil Spence. Practice Rowand Anderson, Kininmonth and Paul. Elgin Town Hall was one of other notable public building commissions which include Kirkcaldy Town Hall and Renfrew airport terminal. The water feature to the front (north) entrance is no longer working and has been infilled and planted. The pool to the south has been infilled and planted.
